Terms of Use

By using Alliansis, you agree to these "Terms of Use".

What we do

Alliansis provides a survey evaluation platform to assess business relationships between clients and suppliers.
 
Our service is provided “as is”. We work hard to keep it running smoothly, but can’t guarantee it will always be perfect.
 
Our security practices are described on our Security page at https://alliansis.com/security/.
 
Our data handling practices are described in our Privacy Policy at https://alliansis.com/privacy/. Our Security page describes our current practices and does not form part of these Terms.
 

Your Account

Provide accurate information when signing up.

Keep your password secure.

One account per person (no multiple accounts).

Tell us immediately if someone else accesses your account.

You’re responsible for all activity under your account.

Payment & Billing

If accessing Alliansis as an individual user, for evaluation usage, you’ll only be charged after your survey is complete and you want to access the results.
 
For business subscription plans you will be billed either monthly or annually in advance, depending on your choice.
 
If accessing Alliansis under a business subscription plan, evaluation credits are purchased in advance, but only applied after your survey is complete and you want to access the results.
 
All payments are processed securely through Stripe and Chargebee.
 

California Auto-Renewal Notice:

Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel.

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Subscription Settings or by contacting our support team at [email protected].

Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.

You will receive a reminder email 7 days before each renewal.

Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.

Your Responsibilities

Use our service legally and appropriately.

Don’t interfere with other users’ experience.

Don’t misrepresent yourself or create fake accounts.

Don’t attempt to hack, reverse engineer, or compromise our systems.

Don’t use our service to collect data unlawfully or violate others’ privacy.

Keep your login credentials secure and confidential. Don’t share your account with others.

Don’t attempt to access other users’ data or accounts.

Comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

Report any suspected security incidents or unauthorized access immediately to [email protected].

Data & Content

You retain ownership of data you input into our service.

You grant us permission to process your data to provide our services.

You’re responsible for ensuring you have rights to any data you upload.

We may suspend accounts that violate intellectual property rights.

When you close your account, your personal data is removed from active systems within 30 days, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Data in automated backups is overwritten in the normal backup rotation cycle.

Anonymized and aggregated data that cannot identify you may be retained for benchmarking purposes.

Service Availability

While we do not guarantee specific uptime levels under these Terms, we design our infrastructure for high availability and maintain security controls as described on our Security page.

We may temporarily suspend service for maintenance or updates.

We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these terms.

We’re not responsible for interruptions caused by third-party service providers, including our cloud hosting, payment processing, authentication, or other infrastructure services.

Our Responsibilities

Protect your data using security controls including encryption, access controls, and monitoring, as described on our Security page.

Maintain the confidentiality of your data and information.
Notify you promptly of any security incidents that may affect your data.

Follow our Privacy Policy in how we handle your information.

Provide reasonable notice before discontinuing our service.

Your Privacy Rights

Your use of Alliansis is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your information, including your rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Important Legal Information

We own the intellectual property rights to our service.

Our total liability is limited to the amount you’ve paid us in the past 12 months.

We’re not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages.

Any disputes must be resolved through binding arbitration in California. You agree to resolve disputes on an individual basis and waive any right to participate in a class action or representative proceeding.

These terms are governed by California law.

If any part of these terms is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.

We may update these terms – when we do, we will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. You may cancel through the application via your Subscription Settings or by contacting our support team at [email protected].

Upon termination, your access will end, but these terms will continue to apply to past use of our service.

Following account closure, your personal data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which provides for removal from active systems within 30 days.
